If you are unsure, you should consult an independent engineer who can best advise you in this particular instance.

Most States and Territories provide different thresholds relating to required building insurance.

Please note that building insurance is different to contents or home building insurance.

How is the building packaged?

When the kit is packed in the factory in a manner suitable for both local and long distance transportation and care needs to be taken when transporting the kit from the depot to your site. All prices quoted include delivery by our national freight partner to their network depots across the country. All efforts are made to have your building kit delivered to a depot location close to you. In some cases, for an additional cost, we will even be able to deliver to your building site.

What do I do once the building arrives?

Your first step is to ensure that all components have arrived. You will receive a picking list and instructions both before the kit arrives as well as a set which will be included in the kit. You need to unpack the kit and check off each component against the picking list to ensure all parts have been included.

How do I identify the parts?

We provide you with a fully detailed parts list which has images which cross references to a framing plan. When unpacking the kit, you should use the parts list to ensure that you have the correct components. It usually pays to measure and mark off on the framing plan so you can identify the parts as they are needed.

It is also recommended that you study the instructions, framing plan and part list to familiarise yourself with the way the building is to go together.

What happens if the product arrives damaged?

If you receive your building and there is something damaged, we have a “no blame” policy and will replace the parts as soon as practical. All we ask is that you can identify the particular part which is damaged and if possible, submit a photograph so we can ensure we order the correct replacement.

Where a part is missing or incorrect, again, we would ask that you identify the part so we can ensure we send out the correct component. This also assists us in our Quality Assurance process for future products.

In the event that a component is missing, you should contact our call centre immediately with the details of the part so we can provide a replacement as quickly as possible.

How do I care for my building?

Like any major investment, to prolong the life of your shed, you do need to know how to maintain it on a regular basis. We will provide you with instructions on how to care for your building as part of a care and maintenance program.

We strongly recommend regular washing, especially on the parts not normally washed by rain. These areas include the tops of roller doors and the underside of the gutters. Regular washing prevents the build-up of atmospheric deposits and salt from sea laden air that will reduce the life of your building if they are not washed off regularly. We recommend that gutters are cleaned out at least once a year to help prevent the build up of leaves and dirt that can cause corrosion.
